WEB4

We use HTML to make pages actually the world wide web consortium decided to officially use XHTML which is just HTML but a little more structured. We also like java scripting cause its so cool...

So now we want to make a link using coding heres a link to the Westminster Dog Show. Conan O'Brian is an insparation to us all....

A way you can see what I just did is by right clicking this page then select view source.

When you do this you will notice it opens up notepad and allows you to view the hard coding of the page every thing between the <> angle brackets it HTML coding it allows me to format the text and create special effects. But HTML is alright but if you really want to do some amazing things you have to use java scripts or DHTML or other types of web browser programming languages. Once you make a page You have to post it on a server a server is a computer the stores and distributes information to other computers and is also used for networks and is always connected to the internet some how probrably not by a phone line or else would suck and when you have to waite an hour to down load a page you like screw this.

Other web programming languages to check our are cgi, asp, and php. Those are all server side languages that means they are executed on the server and not the viewers computers. Web programming languages are only read by your browser except for applets but that a different story
